First Wedding Anniversary in Vietnam

Image
So my husband and I celebrated last year our first wedding anniversary. I’ve been looking for a place where we can have some adventures, and can relax at the same time. The final judgement??? HANOI!!!! I’m a big fan of Ha Long Bay ever since! I always tell myself that someday, I would cruise the Gulf of Tonkin with my love. And yes!!!! Dream came true! Thank you, Lord for always hearing my prayers! 😊 I planned months before and reviewed the packages travel agencies quoted for us. I don’t usually book for travel agencies but I want our anniversary to be smooth and hassle-free. I went for  APT Travel  and Lee Thuy, their sales manager was very accommodating with all my suggestions. I told her all the places we want to go and she arranged everything for us.  •Top places to see• *Hanoi Old Quarter *Hanoi City (Ho Chi Minh’s Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple) *Ha Long Bay (Sung Sot cave, Titop Island)  *Ninh Binh Pro

PASSPORT STAMPS made my US VISA application easier!

Image
I wanted to share my experience when I applied my US visa. As I’ve been traveling endlessly for the past years, 3/4 of my passport pages are now consumed of visa stamps. And since I wanted to go to the US to visit my families in the future, of course, I applied for their visa. What to bring?  *Printed online application with appointment date  *Visa Fees-590 AED or $160 (Online Payment)  *No Objection Certificate to Travel from your company *6 months bank statement  **Be prompt and always be ready with your answers with confidence!!!!  Usual questions for applicants: (I overheard some of these questions from other officers while I was queuing for my turn)  *When was your last travel? *Where did you go? *Purpose of traveling in the US. *Do you have families in the US?  *Show me a copy of your bank statement. *Can I see your NOC from your company? *If attending a conference in the US, can you show me your itineraries, agenda, and who will fund your trip?  *How long have you been work

THE HOLY LAND

Image
Nowhere on Earth is more sacred to three of the principal religions—Christianity, Judaism, and Islam—than a corner of the Middle East called  the "Holy Land." Panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives How many of you wishes to go to The Holy Land once in  your lifetime? I was so blessed last 2015 to be given a chance to step foot in Israel when we went to Jordan. As you can see, it will be very expensive If someday, I'm going to join a group from the Philippines to do a Pilgrimage, so I grabbed the opportunity crossing the border of Israel from Jordan because that will save me a lot of money.  Important sites to visit: Old City of Jerusalem (Garden of Gethsemane, Wailing or Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Jewish Quarters)  Gethsemane is a garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, most famous as the place where Jesus prayed and his disciples slept the night before Jesus' crucifixion.
