Hidden Gems of Krabi

Thinking about Thailand? Why not go to Krabi? Less crowd, much cheaper than Phuket, nearer to Phi Phi Islands, and has many hidden treasures you will not expect. Here are some places I recommend each traveler should check out.

1.) Blue Pool

Yes! This pool in the middle of the jungle is a must-see in Krabi. Though swimming is prohibited, it is still a great experience to catch a glimpse of their famous Blue Pool.

2.) Emerald Pool

As the color of water itself, this Emerald Pool is also a must-try in Krabi. People are allowed to swim in this pool and if you have enough time, better to stay here for one wholeday so you can enjoy the Jungle, Blue Pool and Emerald Pool at the same time.

3.) Krabi Hot Spring

Soak yourself in the water and enjoy. As you can see, this place is really famous for western people. This spring has therapeutic effects too!

4.) Tiger Cave Temple

If you do enjoy trekking and seeing the mountains, then Tiger Cave Temple is a good idea. Make sure to have plenty of time before hiking. Have some bottled water with you too! This place is quite steep but gives you a million dollar view after the hike. A Buddhist Temple is also located at the top of the mountain for prayers and offerings.

5.) Phi Phi Islands

Check out Maya Bay. Famous for Leonardo DiCaprio's movie 'The Beach'.

Nemo is there! 😉 Go and find him!

*Recommended Hotel: Peace Laguna Resort*

We booked this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights with everyday breakfast via AGODA for $227. We also got upgraded to a much bigger room for free!
